Art print design by Emily Keating Snyder for Hôtel Magique.
Before incorporating embroidery the original pieces were made with acrylic paint on loose, unprimed canvas.
The deep blue inspired by bold feathers of tropical birds, the rust colour all the stages of trees decomposing and mushrooms popping up.
The rich green like being surrounded by leaves, and the sandy sage colour to early mornings, when the vibrant colours of nature are more hazy and subdued.
Emily Keating Snyder a Los Angeles-based artist creating abstract embroidered paintings which seek to bring craft into the context of fine art.
